Nicki is a Professional Art Therapist and member of the BC Art Therapy Association. She is also a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Her approach to art therapy is client-centred, trauma-informed, somatic and informed by developmental and attachment theories.

Nicki has twenty years of experience in the fields of child development and family support, and is also trained as a child life specialist.  She is knowledgeable about children's responses to hospitalization, medical trauma, and supporting siblings of children with chronic or long-term medical needs. She is also the co-owner of With Love Grief Support (www.withlovegriefgifts.com).

Nicki was born and raised in Vancouver BC and lives with her husband and three children.
